Jim Beam's Cadillac F1 Bottle Arrives in the US for $21.99

Jim Beam has a Cadillac in its family history, and now it has one on its label too. The Kentucky bourbon brand has brought its limited-edition Cadillac Formula 1 Team bottle to the US, timed to the team's home race in Austin, Texas. The bottle first appeared at the British Grand Prix in July. It wears a racing-inspired design and costs $21.99.
What Makes This Release Special?
Let's be clear about what is new here: the look, not the liquid. This is a collectible bottle design wrapped around Jim Beam's standard bourbon. The draw is the story, a bourbon brand and a brand-new F1 team sharing a bottle and a surprisingly old family connection.
The design draws on the team's helmet concept, with checkered-flag detailing and the Jim Beam and Cadillac names side by side. Jim Beam is the team's Official Spirits Partner, part of a multi-year global deal announced in September 2025. Cadillac joined the Formula 1 grid in 2026 as the sport's 11th team.
The bottle debuted globally at Silverstone on July 4, and Cadillac team members of legal drinking age got one before fans did. The US launch lines up with Austin, the team's second American home race after Miami. Freddie Noe, Jim Beam's eighth-generation master distiller, said it was special to see "these two American icons come together on a bottle."

Inside the Bottle
Inside is Jim Beam's regular Kentucky Straight Bourbon, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). Proof is just double the ABV, and 80 proof is the standard strength for most everyday whiskey. Bourbon, if you are new to it, is American whiskey made mostly from corn and aged in new charred oak barrels.
The brand formally calls it the 2026 Jim Beam White x Cadillac Formula 1 Team Limited Edition Bottle. The US version is a 750ml bottle. Outside the US, it also comes in 700ml, with a 1000ml size for global travel retail. No separate tasting notes were published for this edition, which makes sense given the liquid is the familiar Jim Beam White.
The Story Behind Jim Beam
The Beam family has been making whiskey in Kentucky since 1795, long before anyone thought about putting a racing helmet on a bottle. The brand carries the name of James B. Beam, known as Jim, who helped bring the family distillery back to life after Prohibition shut it down.
Here is where the Cadillac comes in. Prohibition was a risky time for any distiller, and the yeast strain behind the whiskey was precious. According to Freddie Noe, Jim Beam himself used his Cadillac to protect the yeast the distillery still uses to make its bourbon today. Yeast is the living ingredient that turns grain sugars into alcohol, so guarding it was like guarding the family recipe.
The Whiskey Wash ties that story to a 1939 Cadillac, and Noe says Cadillac has been part of his family's story for nearly 90 years. So this partnership is not just a sponsor's logo slapped on a bottle. It is an old American car brand returning to a very old American bourbon story, this time on the Formula 1 grid.

Did You Know?
Cadillac's drivers bring plenty of experience. Sergio Pérez sat alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull from 2021 through 2024, and Valtteri Bottas was Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes teammate from 2017 through 2021.
The Austin race weekend brought Cadillac F1 Roadhouse events and a race-day watch party at Half Step, plus a Jim Beam Roadhouse appearance by Pérez on October 28.

Tonights Poison Take
At $21.99, this is an easy collectible: you get a conversation-starting bottle without paying a premium for the whiskey itself. It is a smart pick for F1 fans, Jim Beam regulars and anyone who likes a bar cart with a story. The best part is the yeast tale, which gives the partnership more depth than a typical racing tie-in. If you already like Jim Beam White, this one pours exactly as you would expect, just with a lot more style.
Bar Talk: Jim Beam once used his Cadillac to protect the yeast still used in his bourbon today, so a Cadillac F1 bottle is a family reunion.
