Paul John Christmas Edition 2020

Paul John Single Malt which started the journey in 2012, is part of John Distilleries India. Paul John has Flagship offerings such as Bold, Edited and Brilliance, comes out with yearly limited-edition offerings, released under ‘Rarities’. One of those is Christmas Edition 2020, third in the series of Christmas Editions launched in 2018.

Paul John Christmas Edition 2020 is blend of Single Malts from Ex-Bourbon, Virgin Oak and Ex-Oloroso casks, with hint of Peat. Cᴏʟᴏʀ: Deep Copper.

Lᴇɢꜱ: Medium.

Nᴏꜱᴇ: Initial whiff gives a nice Peat Smoke followed by Raisins, Honey, Caramel, Vanilla along with some Bacon and hint of Citrus.

Pᴀʟᴀᴛᴇ: Smooth Fruity flavors with Grilled Pineapples, Raisins, Figs, followed by luscious Caramel, Vanilla, Honey some Ginger, Orange and Peppered Bacon along with Peaty Smoke mouthfeel.

Fɪɴɪꜱʜ: Elegant Medium-Long finish with Smoked Fruit Sweetness.

Overall, this limited edition is a wonderful whisky and comes with lovely layers of flavors. Grab one when you see it.
