Gran Coramino Launches Its First Blanco Tequila Nationwide

Gran Coramino has spent years building its name on smoothness in aged and filtered tequilas, and now it is going back to basics. The Kevin Hart co-founded brand just began a nationwide US launch of Gran Coramino Blanco, its first unaged tequila and the fourth expression in the lineup. It arrived on shelves October 21, 2026, and it targets the biggest segment of the tequila category.
Did You Know?
The agave for Gran Coramino Blanco is harvested at peak maturity, between six and eight years old, then slow-cooked for 36 to 40 hours in traditional brick ovens.
Blanco is made from only three ingredients: 100% Blue Weber agave, deep well water from Jalisco, and the brand's proprietary yeast.
Before the national rollout, Blanco made its debut in Atlanta on the brand's Winners Only Tour, served in a tequila-based Lemon Drop martini.
The Release
A blanco is an unaged tequila, bottled without time in a barrel, so the agave has to do all the talking. Kevin Hart put it plainly: "With three ingredients there is nowhere to hide." According to the brand, getting an unaged tequila to match the smoothness of the rest of the lineup took a different approach than its aged bottles, which develop character through time and finishing.
Production follows the same path as the rest of the Gran Coramino portfolio. After the slow cook in brick ovens, the agave goes through a four-step roller mill for extraction. The liquid then ferments for 40 to 50 hours in closed stainless-steel tanks with the proprietary yeast. It is double-distilled in copper pot stills. The bottle carries NOM 1612, the number that identifies the distillery where a tequila was made.
According to the brand, the tequila opens with cooked agave, light citrus, subtle black pepper and hints of floral notes. It then adds a touch of sweetness, minerality and gentle peppery spice before a clean, vibrant finish. It comes in the signature Gran Coramino bottle with a blue wrap and crystal-clear liquid.
Blanco is easy to confuse with the brand's Cristalino, so the difference matters. Cristalino is a reposado aged two to four months and then charcoal-filtered to clear it up and soften the oak notes. Blanco never sees a barrel at all.
The launch cocktail is a Lemon Drop Martini:
2 oz Gran Coramino Blanco
0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
0.25 oz triple sec
Garnish: sugar rim and lemon twist
Shake everything with ice, strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass and finish with the twist.
The Story of Gran Coramino
Gran Coramino was founded by actor and comedian Kevin Hart and Juan Domingo Beckmann, an 11th-generation tequila producer. The brand pairs a celebrity co-founder with a family tequila lineage, and it is built around the motto "Hard Work Tastes Different."
According to Forbes, the portfolio began in 2022 with a luxury Cristalino. Reposado and Añejo followed, and Blanco now rounds out the range as the fourth expression. The brand says it has passed $200 million in retail sales. Forbes also reports that Hart said early liquid development "bombed" several times, and that Blanco came partly from listening to what consumers wanted.
Beyond the bottles, the brand says it has invested over $1.7 million in entrepreneurs through The Coramino Fund, which provides grants to small business owners across Mexico and the US.
Why It Stands Out
Blanco is the largest slice of the tequila market, and until now Gran Coramino did not have a bottle there. At $34.99, Forbes calls it the brand's most accessible expression. That gives curious drinkers an easy first step into the lineup. The 375ml size at $18.99 is a low-commitment way to try it.
